This project was notable for being one of the first Enterprise Java projects in Germany - so new in fact that the JDBC drivers were unreliable throughout development. The MCBS (mobilcom billing system) framework, developed completely in-house, featured innovative object relational mapping allowing for the rapid deployment of new and complex features.

This project was characterised by remarkably good customer-consultant relations.

Mobilcom pioneered almost instantaneous network registration of mobile users - something which took days or even weeks with other providers at that time; the flexibility of its software framework made such innovation possible.
